Security for mobile cabinets

Available via storage specialist Lista UK are two monitoring systems which provide accountability and security for tools and mobile storage cabinets.

The Traka version utilises an iFob key, accessed with a card or biometric reader. The user is identified as the key is taken, and limits to the time in use and which tool cabinets can be operated are set. When the set time elapses the cabinet automatically locks, ensuring return of the iFob and creating a 100% audit of the tool cabinet history.

The other option is for simple Barcode Access with a swipe card. Once programmed using a PC or PDA the card opens the cabinet only to the authorised user. After selected tools have been removed and the last drawer closed the cabinet automatically locks, and prevents misuse.
