Powered narrow aisle system

A powered mobile narrow aisle storage system has been installed by Storax Racking Systems for furniture store, Fenwicks.

The system has been designed to store a wide range of furniture including hundreds of high quality sofas - very different from the storage of frozen food for which Storax is known.

The site has very little spare space so the combination of Storax mobile racking and narrow aisle truck gives the maximum utilisation.

Due to the value and nature of the product, the whole racking system is fitted with sprinklers linked to the mobile racks by flexible hoses.

The system provides a highly flexible solution for the storage of furniture as maximum density is achieved while retaining 100% rapid access.
