Roll containers are witnessing a surge in demand from a variety of different industries, according to manufacturer Bekaert Handling, which claims they are the most efficient method of distributing goods in the supply chain.

According to Bekaert UK sales director, John Wright, from food retail to the laundry sector, the benefits are extensive “in terms of improved back shop storage, quick vehicle fill and turn around times and [being] the most simple and effective means of transport to the merchandising shelf.” Of the company’s bespoke design service, he says: “All roll containers are designed into response to individual customer’s specific requirements, which means we can be completely flexible in terms of materials, sizes and specification.”
