Complete stores installed
October 1st 2005

SSI Schaefer, having won the contract to fit-out Knorr-Bremse Rail Systems’ purpose built site in Wiltshire six months ago, has now installed the complete stores within the new building.

SSI Schaefer has installed Regal 3000 shelving, R7000 tilt shelving and PR600 pallet racking. Mesh partitioning was supplied and installed along with thousands of blue plastic containers, complementing the Knorr Bremse Group’s corporate image.

Nick Fitzwater, Business Systems Manager, Knorr-Bremse Rail Systems, said: "We are very happy with the quality of the product and the installation of the SSI Schaefer equipment, which is in line with our new world class factory.

The new layout has enabled us to develop more efficient processes within our stores."
