Automated end-of-line equipment

Due to an increase in sales, meat-free products and frozen meal producer, Goodlife Foods has introduced new automated end-of-line equipment from Astec Conveyors.

The system feeds product through a new flow wrapping machine, X-ray machine and an automated cartoner – all in restricted space. This has been achieved using a loop conveying system incorporating slat band conveyors and a 180° belt bend.

According to Goodlife operations director, Hubert Brady, Astec demonstrated a clear understanding of the company's needs and responded very quickly to the enquiry.
