Insulated shipping container August 1st 2004 An extended life, return to base pharmaceutical shipper has been designed by Laminar Medica to solve a logistics problem experienced by Dutch pharmaceutical wholesaler, OPG.
Developed for temperature sensitive products, the container has a robust, easy to carry, plastic outer with a hinged lid and a tamper evident sealing system. Internal insulation is provided by silica filled vacuum insulation panels. The payload is contained in a solid polystyrene container, which features rounded corners for easy cleaning and maintenance.
Cool packs fit over the top of this the number deployed depends on required duration of the particular container. There are two types of shipper, one with 24 hours duration (with a 6.7 litre capacity) and another of 72 hours (4.1 litres). More articles from Laminar Medica Ltd.: |
