Welconstruct Customer Solutions has secured and started work on a new contract to install a Ł1.5m solutions package for Home Entertainment Corporation (HEC) – the second largest video and DVD ‘rentailer’ in the UK.

Rapid growth had prompted HEC to find a new base for its logistics operation. Welconstruct Customer Solutions offered a complete package including the design and management of the project, as well as providing mezzanine flooring, pallet racking, automated conveyors, ventilation, cooling, smoke detection and sprinkler systems, lighting and power supplies, and a purpose built labelling machine.

Steve Barker, development director of HEC said: ‘When choosing the company for this job we took a number of others into consideration, but Welconstruct were able to provide the detailed consultancy we needed and offered value for money.’
