Tripack Solutions acquires Rosewood Scotland January 18th 2010 Packaging solutions company Tripack Solutions, which is a member of The Scott Group, has bought Cumbernauld-based firm Rosewood Scotland for an undisclosed sum.
Alan Gibson, managing director of the packaging and pallet divisions at The Scott Group, said: “Rosewood Scotland was a strong competitor in the marketplace and while the business’ strengths lie in different areas from Tripack, the two companies have real synergy in terms of product offering. We’re delighted to have completed this deal which will be of benefit to all of our existing customers and the market place at large.”
The acquisition is an asset purchase and the Cumbernauld base will be re-branded as a Tripack site.
