Windsor Access promotes safe working practice with JLG platforms

Hull-based Windsor Komatsu & Access, a preferred supplier of JLG aerial work platforms in the Midlands and North of England, has made big strides in promoting ‘safe working practice’ using modern, efficient powered access equipment to many of its customers in the commercial and industrial sectors.

The stringent demands of the latest health and safety legislation – particularly work-at-height regulations – put the onus firmly on employers to provide suitable and safe access equipment. Windsor Access offers a wide variety of cost-effective access solutions from the extensive range offered by JLG.

The latest compact machines play a particularly important role, offering easily available, time saving and cost-effective solutions to access in difficult-to-reach areas. These can be rented for short-term needs, or purchased for more regular use, enabling increased productivity in busy industrial units.

JLG’s versatile Toucan Mast Booms, for example, are particularly suited to regular high-level cleaning and maintenance required in the food-manufacturing and processing industries. They are capable of working in very confined floor-space and restricted areas, and avoid the need for temporary scaffolding or ladders.
