New side opening folding doors December 1st 2005 Crawford has introduced a new range of side opening folding doors. According to the company, the new range offers several advantages over sectional overhead doors, including the need for only minimal roof space and less maintenance thanks to a small number of moving parts with potential for wear and tear.
Fully opening, the side opening folding doors leave the access completely free for unhindered and safe passage. Offering aesthetics and functionality, when combined with Crawford sectional overhead doors, the new side opening folding doors create a uniform building facade, which has not been possible to achieve until now.
There are four doors included in the range that cover applications from normal industrial environments to specialised sites in the commercial sector. They can be manually or electrically operated and a range of automatic opening and closing systems are available. A soft start and stop function, which prolongs the life of the door and reduces maintenance requirements, is standard across the range.
With seals top and bottom and between folds, energy loss from buildings is reduced, resulting in cost savings and improved working conditions. More articles from Crawford UK Ltd: |
