Leading European and UK distribution company, Cranleigh Freight Services, now offers a track & trace system. As a founder member of pallet network, Pall-Ex, CFS has invested in Track & Trace IT, developed by Pall-Ex for its members.

The technology enables Cranleigh Freight to track palletised consignments in real time. Pallets carry barcode labels, that are scanned throughout the network and digital signatures are captured on PDAs at point of delivery. The data is then transmitted back to CFS and the information viewed on line.

Becky Young of CFS commented: "CFS UK customers have peace of mind that consignments will be delivered on time, every time. Furthermore, there is full visibility of the pallets from the time they are picked up, through the network, until they are signed and delivered."
