New IBC folds for ease of return

A new Intermediate Bulk Container (IBC) is now available for purchase or hire from Simons Reeve, the materials handling equipment supplier.

The ‘Easifold 1000’ is designed principally for the food, beverage, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. Its main benefits are that it is easily folded for simple, economic storage and return transport and its construction from smooth food-grade standard plastic, which has no areas in which materials may become trapped.

The Easifold 1000 has an overall size of 1155mm(w) x 1155mm(d) x 1132mm(h) and weighs just 88kg. The unit is fully folding and easy to assemble, with forklift truck tine access on all four sides.

Commenting on the new product, managing director Simon Burton said, "The Easifold 1000 is another valuable addition to our increasing plastic product range. We have a number of rental options which will appeal to companies who don’t wish to tie up their assets in materials handling equipment. It also allows them to make full use of our hygienic cleaning and maintenance services."
