When sourcing a logistics provider to service a major modification programme, Derby based Air International Transit looked no further than Meachers Group Holdings. Based in Derby and Southampton, Meachers, is supporting Air International Transit with logistics and warehousing requirements.

Major modification of Air International Transit's Derby facility meant transporting equipment to the South and transferring obsolete equipment back to the Midlands.

Meachers Group Holdings is aiding the refurb by transporting over 200 loads as well as supplying the company with secure storage facilities.

Commenting, Will Farrell, service manager at Air International Transit said: "We chose Meachers as the company has an excellent local management team and a first class reputation for service and reliability, which we believe is an essential factor to help us manage and achieve the strict financial restraints within this major project."

As part of its expansion in the Midlands, Meachers Group Holdings relocated last year to new, purpose built offices, situated alongside its existing oneacre site at Raynesway, Derby, on the ring road to the M1 motorway.
