Pfaff expands handling division

Pfaff-silberblau plans to develop its materials handling activity significantly in 2006. Following record sales and profit growth in 2005, Pfaff UK intends a strong strategic focus on the company's extensive range of hand pallet and powered trucks in the coming months. To support this, the company has recruited two of the UK's leading product sales specialists to spearhead growth and development of new market sectors.

Gwyn Davies joins from Stanley Handling to head up the new division. He brings over 20 years experience in materials handling and is joined by Jan Almkvist, who has worked for leading European companies in the sector for over 10 years.

This new partnership will also oversee the UK launch of a comprehensive range of counterbalanced powered stacker trucks.
