Cheers to safe and efficient scissor lifts

There is a very good chance that the beverage delivery system in your local pub or bar uses gasses manufactured by Airliquide.

And giving that process extra fizz are scissor lifts made by Saxon Lifts.

Airliquide gasses, CO2 or N2/CO2 are filled into cylinders, each weighing up to 24kg when full. With between 26 and 38 cylinders per stillage or pallet, an operator filling cylinders will handle empty and full cylinders up to 800 times in a single shift - that's approximately 20t. To cope, Airliquide recently installed 22 hydraulic scissor lifts designed, manufactured and installed by Saxon.

As a result the amount of lifting required to fill each cylinder has been dramatically reduced and the working environment made more safe and efficient.
