Easy operation minimises strain risks

Manufacturer of high performance coatings and passive fire protection products, Leigh’s Paints has exacting standards when it comes to the handling of its products. It has found the Sichelschmidt range of purpose-built flame proof handling equipment to be the most reliable and cost effective solution, and six Sichelschmidt pedestrian operated pallet trucks, supplied by Sichelschmidt’s sole UK distributor Ability Handling, are in operation in and around the company headquarters in Bolton.

Operators have been very happy with performance and this has had a positive impact on health and safety issues – the easy operation of the pallet trucks removes the temptation to manually handle goods and thereby minimises risk of strain on the workforce.
