Vacuum grippers stick to the task December 1st 2007 PIAB says its VGS series of
vacuum gripper systems
enable increased productivity
and lower operating costs.
With varying levels of
vacuum flow the units
(available in three gripper
sizes) reduce energy
consumption, have faster
response times and improve
reliability, according to PIAB.
The firm says VGS is suited to
applications such as pick and
place, injection moulding and
palletising.
Each system uses an
integrated COAX cartridge,
to position vacuum power
precisely where needed.
Vacuum flow levels are
dependent on the size of
the cartridge integrated in
the system. The series also
uses Duraflex suction cups
in varying sizes, ensuring a
strong and reliable seal on
difficult to handle materials
such as plastic bags and
cardboard boxes. |
