High-reaching unit
April 1st 2007 Al-Vac has developed a ceiling-mounted vacuum lifting unit with flexible movement to enable it to operate safely over extensive work areas. The new product is ideal for operations working on long conveyor belts or work benches when safe lifting of heavy or bulky items is difficult and when floorstanding units do not have the necessary reach. The standard system can handle loads of up to 40kg, although heavier duty systems can be provided. The product is suitable for situations where extensive and unrestricted movement is required. "The model is all about using the right tool for the job, this new vacuum lifter is big enough to handle the work effectively and safely" says Al Vac's Colin Harper.
