REID Lifting chose Pollutec Paris to launch its new 1 Tonne PORTADAVIT system. The company also sponsored a presentation area for trends in the use of lightweight portable lifting systems, demonstrating the benefits of such technologies to users and buyers in terms of health and safety, manual handling, utilisation, planning and financial considerations.

Nick Battersby, REID Lifting MD commented "We enjoyed a tremendously positive response to our new PORTA-DAVIT1000 as the water industry, in particular, struggles with increasingly heavy pumps and filters it has to regularly lift in water and waste treatment plants. They immediately recognised the benefits of such a unique system in providing additional lifting capacity, whilst still being portable."
