Mastering safety with new tug
August 1st 2007 Plastic pipe systems and
solutions supplier Wavin has
alleviated health and safety
concerns for its workforce by
introducing a MasterTug at
its Chippenham site.
The machine, designed by
MasterMover, is used to
maoeuvre finished bundles
of pipe product from the end
of extrusion lines during the
manufacturing process.
"The MasterMover
machine is a neat, well
made compact unit and
strong for our demands,"
says Steve Hawkins,
production engineer.
"This has taken the
manual strain off our
operators." The MasterTug
has provided Wavin Plastics
with a safe and effective
solution and addressed
health and safety issues for
