Now with hydraulic options
February 1st 2007 Now available from J D Neuhaus are hydraulically operated versions from the midrange of its Profi Ti air hoists. Designed for safe operation in hazardous areas, they can also be used as an alternative to air-operated hoists where hydraulic lines, centralised hydraulic systems or hydraulic power packs are already in existence. Five hoists are currently available, with capacities ranging from 3 to 20t. Units operate with an intake pressure of 130bar, using mineral oils or fire-resistant fluids. Other operating pressures and fluids can also be accommodated if required. The modular construction of the Profi Ti range means that the robust hydraulic gear motor capsule can be easily interchanged with an existing air operated motor unit.
