Savings stack up with new design
October 1st 2005 Industrial Automation has launched an updated version of its ‘Staktec’ pallet stacker/ dispenser, which offers a quicker cycle time. The unit also requires less head space, standing only 1.8m high - 0.9m less than the original.
The new design means that it can be moved by fork truck to make installation easier. At around £9000, it is £4500 cheaper than the original Staktec.
According to the company, using a Staktec will reduce operator injury caused by the manual handling of pallets, resulting in less absenteeism and liability insurance claims.
The new system dispenses individual pallets from a preloaded full stack or it can create a new stack from individually loaded single pallets, inserted by the operator using a pallet truck. More articles from Impacto Protective Products Inc: |
