Motorised overhead travelling systems October 1st 2005 Granada Material Handling has furthered its relationship with industrial-use metal detectors manufacturer, Mettler-Toledo Safeline, with the installation of a number of light and heavy lifting solutions at the company's headquarters.
Mettler-Toledo Safeline uses overhead travelling cranes to keep equipment moving throughout the manufacturing process.
When the crane systems on several of its production lines needed augmenting or updating, it turned to Granada for new solutions.
Granada, which already had a long-standing relationship with the company, moved quickly to recommend and install a heavy duty and several light overhead travelling systems.
All solutions are fully motorised with XYZ movement and are operated by pendant/radio control.
Safeline manufacturing engineer, Paul Fletcher, comments on the installation: "GMH have always done a good job for us in the past, and this time was no exception. All the new systems were expertly installed, fit for purpose and are working well in feeding our busy production lines."
An added benefit for Safeline is its service relationship with GMH - the company has six monthly site visits from experts to perform checks and repairs on its crane systems. More articles from Granada Materials Handling Ltd.: |
