Laden trolleys moved with ease
December 1st 2004

HM Prison Winchester has taken delivery of a second Nu-Star PowerTug for moving around a Corsair heated food trolley.

The original PowerTug was purchased in 2003 following extensive trials. To enable the PowerTug to precisely connect to the chassis of the food trolley, Nu-Star designed and manufactured a bespoke attachment. The machine enables one person to manoeuvre the trolley with ease.

Following an upgrade to the kitchen facilities, an additional heated food trolley was purchased and Nu-Star asked to supply a second PowerTug.
