Complete control of weighty trolleys October 1st 2003 Manufacturer of top grain leather for the automotive industry, Eagle Ottawa, has recently taken delivery of two Nu-Star Power Tugs at its Warrington site.
Nu-Star was contacted to help solve manual handling issues involving the movement of A-frame trolleys referred to as horses. Used to transport leather hides on site, these were pushed/pulled by hand an unpopular task as the combination of swivelling castors and weight made manoeuvring very difficult.
Nu-Star designed a bespoke method of attaching the horses that ensures operators can move them around with complete control.
