Granada Material Handling, has become the sole UK outlet for the ‘Fezer’ VacuPowerlift handling units. The units come in seven different sizes depending on the load needed to be lifted – from 30kgs up to 120kgs.

According to Granada, VacuPowerlift solves numerous work stationbased repetitive handling problems. The system, based on a self-evacuating tube, can be supported from a jib crane or, for more coverage, a lightweight crane system.

The design of the system is the same for each product to be lifted except the lifting tube suction foot. The suction head is product specific – so if the application involves the handling of paper sacks then the unit would be supplied with a bespoke sack foot to grip the bag. Similarly if the product is an mdf board then the lifting foot would incorporate a number of adjustable pads to allow for differing board sizes.
