Fly by wire diesel sideloader
December 1st 2005

Following the success of its electric truck, Votex-Bison has launched a new diesel engined multidirectional Scout sideloader.

The three wheeled configuration, using close coupled steering wheels, offers a lower ground pressure 'footprint', reducing the risk of surface damage, while giving manoeuvrability with minimum tyre wear.

Available in the UK through Integrity Handling, the Scout uses electronic 'fly by wire' steering, making it easy to manoeuvre, reducing operator fatigue and simplifying maintenance. All wheel independent steering, braking and hydrostatic driving provides safe and accurate manoeuvrability.

Like the electric machine, the Scout has a touch screen for fast, precise direction selection. The screen also provides diagnostic information aiding efficient, cost effective maintenance.

The all-metal comfort cab is standard, providing the operator with weather protection. As with all multidirection machines in the Votex-Bison range, the Scout can be supplied with duplex and triplex masts with various lift heights.
