STILL fleet works for Chums

Chums, a leading mail order catalogue company, uses STILL forklift and warehousing equipment to help ensure every order leaves on time, every time.

Specialising in men's and women's wear, footwear, and mobility aids, Chums has recently equipped its Prescot based distribution centre with a fleet of five STILL forklift and warehouse trucks.

The STILL fleet, comprising three EK 12 order pickers, one FM 14 reach truck and an R 50-10 electric counterbalance forklift, was supplied direct from the manufacturer at STILL's Northern Regional Sales Centre in Preston.

Chums offers a vast range of sizes throughout its range, so a major factor in its materials handling operation is the order picking. Here, the STILL EK 12 order pickers come to the fore.

For high performance order picking up to 10.5m high, the EK 12 provides maximum driver comfort with individual layout options for the driver's cab and a lowwear, energy saving drive concept for additional operating economies.
