Service capability key to rental fleet
October 1st 2004

Professional car care product supplier, Autoglym has taken delivery of a new fleet of Hyster Matrix reach trucks, electric and diesel counterbalance trucks and powered pallet trucks one of which is Zone 1 protected.

The fleet has been supplied on a rental basis by Barloworld, allowing Autoglym to concentrate on their core business. It has also allowed Autoglym to increase their fleet size from six trucks to twelve thanks to the savings possible through rental. Extra operators can also be employed.

Our main criteria when selecting a materials handling partner was the truck application and service capability, said Mark Evans, warehouse manager at Autoglym. In both areas Barloworld Handling excelled, making our decision straightforward.
