Soft drinks company, Britvic, is benefiting from Davis Derbys TruckLOG System. Fitted across the companys 16 strong lift truck fleet, the system enables the easy assessment of the use and handling of the equipment, resulting in reduced servicing and repair costs.

TruckLOG monitors, measures and controls events in key areas and provides essential information for effective fleet management. The system focuses on safety, utilisation and downtime, together with damage and abuse.

Mick Sharp, logistics training co-ordinator at the site has reported a noticeable improvement in health and safety, as well as reduced repair costs. Fork trucks are dangerous in the hands of unauthorised personnel or when improperly used. TruckLOG exposes dangerous and careless use, not only reporting the precise second that impact occurs, but also pinpointing who is responsible.
