Designed to meet customer needs

Corporate Express has awarded Barloworld Handling the contract to renew the forklift fleet at its Birmingham distribution centre.

For the contract, Barloworld has been able to bring into play its expertise in warehouse layout, racking, truck selection and driver training. Finding the right truck has been aided by Hysters philosophy of designing trucks to meet customer needs.

The fleet is made up of four VNA C1.8X trucks, four VNA C1.3 trucks and three R2.0H Matrix reach trucks. All are wire guided. The C1.3 units lift to a height of 10.75m, while the C1.8Xs go up to 14.75m reckoned to be one of the highest lifts in the UK.
