Providing double deep reach

Contract Foods', manufacturer of health and food formulations, has employed a modern forklift fleet from M&W Toyota Handling to help transport goods efficiently around its heavily stocked 50,000ft2 premises.

The Toyota 7FBRE Double Deep reach trucks lift pallets, each weighing one tonne, up to 6.3m high.

The warehouse's double deep racking means that the driver is at times effectively blind – an inbuilt camera allows the driver to view the load easily and safely.

Fitted to the entire fleet is Toyota's Events Analysing Recording System (EARS), which allows monitoring of the movements of trucks and drivers. Drivers have their own fobs so that only authorised drivers can use the forklifts.

M&W Toyota Handling has supplied two new 7SM12 stackers which are fitted with onboard chargers, removing the need for a charging bay in the warehouse.
