Bendi boosts Trans Haul’s pallet storage February 1st 2005 Compared with its previous reach truck handling operation, Trans Haul says it has gained 30% more pallet positions by leasing two Translift Bendi forklifts. “Previously we were using two types of forklift: counterbalanced for lorry loading/unloading in the yard; and reach trucks inside the warehouse,” says Trans Haul managing director, Nigel Machado. “But as far as I am concerned, we will not go back to reach trucks.
Bendi is our way forward.” Bendi’s large soft rubber tyres, articulating wheel axles, relatively high chassis ground clearance, plus articulating fork mast make it highly versatile both indoors and out, cutting out double handling. More articles from Translift Bendi Limited: |
