Strong west country growth

Bristol Forklifts, operating throughout the west country, has reported a 40% increase in turnover for the fourth consecutive year.

The company was set up in May 2002 by three local businessmen, Julian Bronson, Ian Mounce and Jerry King, employing just four people.

At the outset, the directors saw an opportunity for a forklift truck provider in the south west that would be flexible enough to provide everything from a 1 day hire through to a £100,000 new machine. And Bristol Forklifts offers it all - new and preowned trucks on a hire or purchase basis, a comprehensive maintenance and parts service, driver training and more.

The company says it is totally committed to tailoring solutions which fit the problem as well as the budget. There are currently over 300 trucks in the hire fleet.
