Accuracy and repeatability

Designed to provide accuracy and repeatability in demanding environments, Timotex’s Supaweigh XL scale is being used by National Railway Supplies (NRS) on 13 Linde H30d 393 forklift trucks at its 26,000m2 distribution centre in Crewe.

The three tonne capacity trucks provide the lifting power for 3700 pallets loaded and dispatched from the DC every month. Using the Timotex on-truck weighing equipment during the materials handling process can deliver improved operational speed, accuracy and profitability, it is claimed.

The Supaweigh XL is operated via a cab-mounted control unit which links to the truck’s hydraulic system.

The scale measures changes in hydraulic pressure in the line as a result of a load being applied.

The digital display unit clearly shows the reading and this is available for printing when required.

The system is simple to operate whilst incorporating wide functionality making it suitable for most materials handling environments. The unit can also be linked to interface with stock control computer operations.
