Airtrax introduces Sidewinder August 1st 2006 For applications where space is tight, turns are not possible and exceptional inching capability is required, Airtrax UK has introduced the Sidewinder ATX-3000.
Featuring Omni- Directional Technology, the four-wheel drive truck has four independently driven wheels and is claimed to have superior traction and breaking capabilities.
The Sidewinder ATX- 3000 has a 48V AC power system and state of the art control technology. Variable lift and travel speeds up to 6.2mph are complemented by high levels of visibility, an ergonomic control joystick and enhanced operator comfort.
Thanks to its omnidirectional capabilities, the unit can work in reduced aisle widths, increasing the capacity of any given storage footprint.
According to Airtrax, the Sidewinder has been designed to have a reduced number of parts compared to conventional forklifts.
This is said to have eliminated high cost maintenance issues.
Transmission and bearings have been sealed for life, so the modular drive units are maintenance free. |
