Robust diesel forklifts move pre-cast concrete products
December 1st 2004 Burton on Trent based Roger Bullivant has taken delivery of two new Komatsu forklifts, supplied through local dealer, Windsor Komatsu. The FD40 T-8s join a fleet of 30 Komatsu units at branches UKwide, as the forklift of choice over the past 10 years.
‘We needed the trucks to be robust as there is a lot of heavy lifting work,’ said Roger Bullivant works manager, Kevin Parker. ‘The new trucks are being used at our Burton on Trent headquarters, moving pre-cast concrete products and steel at the 250 acre site – in the factory and outdoor stocking areas.’ The trucks have been specified with weatherproof cabs and four metre Duplex masts.
