Block packs moved without pallets December 1st 2004 Handling banded block packs without pallets can be carried out quickly, safely and easily with a new versatile Kaup attachment from B&B Attachments.
The Kaup 412VP has block handling arms which can be quickly slipped over the standard forks of the truck so that block packs can be transported without the use of a pallet. Not only does this speed up delivery but also improves handling efficiency and saves costs on pallets and labour.
The Kaup 412VP can be used to transport blocks, flags and bricks for loading, while maintaining the availability of the standard forks for palletised loads. It reduces the costs associated with dispatching a pallet with every load, and as the clamp is able to handle a variety of load sizes, increases the versatility of the forklift.
Offering sideshift as well as fork positioning, the Kaup 412VP allows the placing of the forks outside the width of the truck so that longer, wider loads can be better supported. More articles from B & B Attachments: |
