Barloworld gives a lift to port operators

Barloworld Handling has supplied a fleet of Hyster Hydrostatic lift trucks and Terburg tugmasters to forest product port terminal operators, Stanton Grove.

When Stanton Grove looked at the contract, truck reliability, short-term hire cover, parts supply, engineer support, manoeuvrability and robustness were examined in detail.

Barloworld says it won the contract by providing trucks that had greater residual capacities with smaller operating aisles, hydrostatic drives and specified to handle all types of paper.

Also by meeting all the other criteria with a tailored financial package of Core fleet and Support fleet trucks, Barloworld says it gave Stanton Grove the piece of mind that it could support customers with the correct equipment.
