Handling and fulfilment firm Fairway PSD have acquired a new Samuk R25L from Britannia Fork Trucks. The gas powered truck will operate inside Fairway's high storage 100 000ft2 warehouse.

The Samuk is fitted with a triplex mast that offers through-mast visibility, helping to reduce accidents, and Samuk say that the masks are very strong due to heavy sections usage and large 120mm diameter rollers. The lifting capacity is 2.5 tonnes.

"We required a truck with a proven record for reliability and exceptional manoeuvrability, to operate across the warehouse and between our multi-tier storage racking. Long service intervals and a great dealer support package were also key," says Bob MacPherson, Fairway MD.
