Relationship built on reliability
August 1st 2006

Toyota has been working with leading logistics provider, Malcolm Logistics Services, for over 30 years.

Working on behalf of customers such as ASDA, Diageo, Ikea and Owen Illinois (O-I), Malcolm Logistics Services has built up a fleet of over 100 Toyota LPG counterbalance trucks.

The use of gas forklifts is one of many policies put in place by parent company, The Malcolm Group, to reduce its impact on the environment. The trucks do not leave any residue on the load and are cleaner for the environment than diesel alternatives.

Reliability is another key factor in the long standing relationship. Malcolm Logistics Services strives to deliver a fast and efficient service to its customers and relies on its suppliers to deliver the same.

The Toyota forklifts can be fitted with specialist handling attachments which increase efficiency.

The 7FGF30 trucks, which handle production output, have been fitted with double pallet handling attachments. This enables the forklifts to transport four pallets at a time.
