Hyundai's high five
April 1st 2007

Hyundai enters the reach truck market with five new models that, it claims, set new standard in ergonomics and efficiency.

The load capacities of the HBR14-7, HBR15-7, HBR18-7, HBR20-7 and HBR25-7 models range from 1.35 tonne to 2.5 tonnes. A modern hydraulic system with a high-capacity pump ensures rapid working, while a powerful transport motor provides excellent gradeability. The advanced Electric Power Steering (EPS) system makes life easier for the operator by providing effortless operation and ensuring absolutely smooth, uniform and accurate motion for load handling, transport, and all other manoeuvres.

The combination of a special mast structure and an open protective roof design gives the operator an unobstructed view of the entire working area at all times, even overhead. The modern design and ergonomic arrangement of the controls and instruments make the operator's job even more enjoyable and thus boost the performance of the man-machine unit. Storage spaces and a cupholder ensure that the necessary tools and workplace amenities are held securely.

The battery is housed in a slide-out box to provide fast, convenient access for charging and maintenance.

The trucks feature a standing position for the operator, which saves additional length. Another advantage of this design is that the operator can leave or return to his position quickly when manual order picking.
