Briggs in deal with BT Fleet
February 1st 2007 Briggs Equipment UK, the UK's sole Cat Lift Truck dealer, has been named as a preferred supplier to BT Fleet, a subsidiary of BT, in a deal worth potentially in excess of £2m. The five-year agreement will see Briggs supply a mixture of leased and purchased materials handling equipment including counterbalance trucks, reach trucks, order pickers and other warehouse equipment BT Fleet manages and maintains more than 70,000 vehicles throughout the UK.
BT's National Distribution Centre is located in Magna Park near Lutterworth, but has distribution and service points across the UK.
