Attachments save time and money

Builder's merchant, Build Center, has significantly improved the handling of its products following the purchase of seven Kaup 2T402UV attachments from B&B Attachments.

Purchased via Barloworld Handling, exclusive suppliers of Hyster forklift trucks to Wolseley UK, whose brands include Build Center, the clamps are being used to handle a wide range of products including narrow and long loads and brick and block packs.

"The Kaup attachment has saved time and money as we have much more flexibility and versatility for one forklift," says David Elliott, operations manager at The Build Center, Northampton Depot.

Previously, Build Center used a scissor grab for handling bricks and blocks, which was difficult to fit and relied on gravity to function.

Now with the Kaup 2T402UV, the brick and blocks are clamped hydraulically, which speeds up the handling process.
