Two year subsidised lease deal October 1st 2007 A 3.5t electric counterbalance
truck has been
launched by TCM. The
FB35-7 is said to offer low
operating costs and high
levels of safety and comfort.
It has an advanced
electronic AC control system
and is powered by a 72V
battery which offers 8.5h
operation time per battery
charge. The FB35-7 has three
energy modes to allow users
to extend operation times to
up to 9h in economy mode.
Super mode offers 8h use at
high speeds to 16 km/h. No
laptops are required to access
the trucks settings and
maintenance access is simple
and easy. AC brings low
maintenance costs, good
braking efficiencies and
shorter stopping times with
accelerator-off braking.
Inside the truck, drivers
can change lift and travel
speed settings through
dashboard. According to the
manufacturer, the truck has a
lowest-in-class step height
reducing driver fatigue by up
to 10%.
Two year subsidised lease deal
Samuk Lift Trucks has
launched a 2 year 'interest
subsidised' lease purchase
agreement for selected
trucks across its range of 1
to 10t equipment.
Available to forklift truck
dealers and hire specialists,
the deal is designed to
enable companies to
upgrade their casual hire
fleets for the minimum
financial outlay, not only
improving the image of
their casual hire fleet, but
subsequently encouraging
the profitable sale of 2 to 3
year old trucks with minimal
refurbishment costs.
"It's a win-win situation
for companies operating a
fleet of hire trucks, as
bringing modern forklifts
into service is an instant
way to boost the image and
reputation of the dealer,"
says Sir Neville Bowman-
Shaw, chairman of Samuk
Lift Trucks.
"New trucks require only
basic servicing, so defleeting
older more
troublesome products frees
up the time of service
engineers for chargeable
work on customer owned
trucks, whilst increasing the
service department's
turnover and profit." More articles from Samuk Lift Trucks Limited: |
