Changes broaden appeal October 1st 2006 Hyster has made some changes to its J2.00-3.20 XM ACX range of electric counterbalanced lift trucks making the series suitable for a wider range of customers.
The ergonomically designed series offers electro-hydraulic control options, a choice of TouchPoint mini-levers or TouchControl joystick and low cost of operation.
A new drive axle comes as standard, incorporating virtually maintenance free oil immersed brakes, which provide lower brake pedal effort for the driver. Completely sealed inside the transaxle, the brakes are suitable for wet, dirty or corrosive environments such as those found in ports, fisheries and small scale chemical applications dealing with harmful or abrasive substances.
And, reports Hyster, the enhanced e-hydraulic options of the series offer a standard in ergonomics which inspires productivity and reduces fatigue. Everything in the cab is designed to keep the operator alert and fresh. For example, the dash display with LCD indication provides high readability even in low light conditions, promoting safety and reducing eye strain. It also delivers diagnostic data straight to the operator. More articles from Hyster Europe: |
