Fleet investment October 1st 2006 Chloride Motive Power (CMP) has invested in a fleet of new Vauxhall vans for its Service Technicians with a new livery – featuring the brands offered by the Exide Group.
The interior of the vans has also been redesigned to improve operational efficiency and after sales service.
Technicians will be able to carry more equipment, allowing them to fix more batteries on the first visit helping them to build on their 90% first time fix rate.
If appropriate, it will also allow them to take away redundant single-cells from customers' traction batteries that have reached the end of their service life, for recycling, increasing their commitment to the environment. More articles from CMP Batteries Limited/ Exide Technologies: |
