Tough computers, rapid ROI October 1st 2007 Barcode-IT has new mobile
computers for forklift trucks. The
Tx800 Triton has rugged
construction, full Windows XP Pro,
Auto Blank Screen function and
range of connectivity options,
including Bluetooth, 802.11b/g and
Ethernet. It incorporates all of these
features in a 10.4 inch mobile
computer, weighing just 2.9kg and
with IP65 rating, that fits easily into
the cab of a forklift truck where
space is limited.
Trux mobile computers have been
designed for projects that require
standard PC applications to run
simultaneously yet are easily
portable and robust solutions that
bolt directly on to forklift trucks.
The company claims return on
investment is assured as any future
application can be installed using its
full Windows XP Pro operating
system. To comply with Health &
Safety directives, the Tx800 Triton
has been designed to automatically
black-out the screen when the
vehicle is moving, avoiding operator
distraction. Additionally, the Tx800
Triton adapts to loss of power by
lowering the screen intensity and
using internal power for up to 30
minutes before finally fully shutting
down the computer to avoid loss of
data. The Tx800 Triton includes
built-in Bluetooth, 802.11b/g, 2 USB
2.0 ports, built-in speakers and
headset port. More articles from Dash Computer Products: |
