WMS available for monthly hire

Logistics technology vendor, LIS has announced that its solutions are now available to rent. This means that users of products like Dispatcher-WMS have the option of paying a single monthly sum to cover software licences, implementation, service, hardware and support.

We speak to many businesses where there is agreement that investment in a WMS or other supply chain solution makes sense, but far too often unrelated issues can delay selection and implementation, says Martin Hiscox, CEO of LIS. By making an advanced WMS available from just a few thousand pounds a month, we aim to help users overcome this type of problem. We also expect the rental option to be of interest to mid-sized companies that might have thought a solution like Dispatcher-WMS was beyond their reach.
