RFID system development December 1st 2004 Henkel consumer Adhesives (HCA) has chosen Manhattan Associates to develop a fully enabled RFID system for delivering products to its retail customers. The companies will work together to design, source and assemble the hardware and software required to pilot and roll-out a full scale RFID solution.
According to Manhattan Associates, RFID compliance is now one of the highest priority issues facing consumer goods organisations. Recent announcements from Wal-Mart and anticipation of future announcements from other retailers are the driving force behind HCAs decision to move forward with an RFID solution.
